Year 1 Foundation
A Two-Year Program
Year 1 is a foundation for both tracks. Each year includes six courses. Courses are five weeks long and meet weekly for three hours via Zoom or in person.

What is Growing in Faith?
Growing in Faith is a ministry within the ELCA committed to fostering learning environments for followers of Jesus to grow in faith. We believe that lay members of our parishes are integral to healthy discipleship in our churches and communities.

Faith Track or Service Track
Choose Your Path
In Year 2, choose the Faith Track or the Service Track based on your interests and calling. Both build on the foundation year and help you grow as a disciple of Jesus.

Students and graduates respond to God’s call in many ways—personal ministry, lay teaching, service, stewardship, care for others, and more.
